Rural area residents have a 23% higher death rate than their metropolitan counterparts according to a study in Health Affair, December 2019 by Dr. Johnston. The primary reason for this was a Lack of access to specialists, such as cardiologists and endocrinologists. We aim to mitigate this gap by bringing a balance to the urban-rural divide through specialty healthcare facilities focused for the rural population.
